Drop Iron Filter, Kinetico S250 & K5 on West Greenfield Avenue

Reliable water treatment was restored for this private well home after a short-lived big-box tank-in-tank softener failed and allowed hardness to return throughout the house. The property was dealing with a combination of high hardness along with both ferrous and ferric iron, which required a more robust solution. To address these issues, a Drop iron filtration system with integrated flow monitoring and leak detection was installed, paired with a high-efficiency Kinetico XP S250 softener for consistent whole-home water quality. The project was completed at a residence on West Greenfield Avenue in New Berlin, Wisconsin. To further protect the family’s health, a Kinetico K5 reverse osmosis system was added to deliver high-quality drinking and cooking water at the tap.
