The pH scale is a measurement of the acidity (on the low end) or alkalinity (on the high end) of water. The scale runs from 0 to 14, with 7 being dead center and also representing a neutral state (neither acidic nor alkaline) and is the level that water should be at. There is a great deal of hype and misinformation across the web on numerous topics dealing with the Ph of a wide variety of things.
